KAWO LOCAL – For Repairs of Local Defects in Pipelines

KAWO LOCAL is a fast and effective trenchless technology for removal of local defects in underground pipelines. It is used to repair leaking connections, tears and cracks using a so called “short lining”. These repairs are very quick and are based on inserting a packer wrapped in glass fabric soaked with quick setting resin into the faulty area. After curing, this resin forms an internal laminate sleeve with excellent strength properties. The work is done with the assistance of a camera after proper washout of the piping. The KAWO LOCAL technology is used to repair local defects in profiles of DN 150 to 600.
